Indfødsretsprøve ID Requirements: Accepted Documents and Checklist

One of the highest-risk mistakes is arriving with the wrong ID. Use this checklist before your exam date.

Accepted ID Categories

• Residence card, alien's passport, or convention passport.
• Passport or national ID card accepted for entry to Denmark (EU, EEA, or Switzerland authority-issued).
• Passport from another country with valid Danish residence sticker.

Not Accepted

• Driving licenses
• Photocopies
• Phone photos/screenshots of your ID
• Expired documents

Exam-Day ID Checklist

1. Bring original valid ID.
2. Bring registration confirmation.
3. Arrive early for identity checks.
4. Keep your document ready before check-in.
