You have 45 minutes to answer 45 questions in Danish.
What do I need to pass?
You need at least 36 correct answers overall and at least 4 correct answers among the 5 questions about Danish values.
How often is it held?
The test is normally held twice a year. Check Dansk og Prøver for the current dates and registration deadlines.
What is the fee?
The published fee for 2026 is 946 DKK per attempt.
Where do I register?
Register directly with an approved test provider. The official list marks providers for Indfødsretsprøven with “IP”.
What should I bring?
Bring original valid identification. Photos and copies are not accepted, and a driving licence cannot be approved for this test.
